Friday
Paved Ponies-
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
10 am to 12 pm
You may know artist Franceyn Dare from her wild and wacky lollies and weirdlings custom models. We are thrilled that Franceyn will be joining us in person at BreyerFest to host this incredible customizing session! Franceyn will show students how to create a 3-D style pony that appears to be made of bricks, complete with flowering vines – all without using any epoxy! Franceyn will walk students through the sculptural phase, all the way through painting. This workshop uses whiteware of the G4 Drafter as the base model.
*Please note that this session is at the same time as How to Make a Western Bridle, Fleabitten!, Introduction to Collecting & Showing Model Horses, and Repairing Horses.

12:30 pm to 2:30 pm

Learn some of her tricks for not only creating unicorn horns, but detailed bridles and fanciful armor with just a bit of history behind their designs. This session will be transforming the Mojave model (Fireheart mold) in to a battle-ready unicorn!
*Please note that this session is at the same time as Painting on Canvas for Kids, Just for Kids! Painting, Kids Rainbow Holo Pony Party, and Model Horse Photography

This class is beginner-friendly but offers plenty to do for more experienced artists as well. This session will be getting spooky with Maggie Bennett’s Norwegian Fjord mare mold.
