case-by-case basis.
Eligible Models
• The show is open to all ceramic and OF resin horse figurines. No custom cold-painted
chinas, glass or crystal figurines are allowed to show in this show. Cold-painted chinas
are considered customized pieces by the show holder and belong at a show with a
CM division. Crystal figurines are not made from clay, resin composite or resin
therefore are not eligible to enter at this show.
• You must be the current owner of the model. No sold models, models on time pays to
another person, loaned, co-owned, or syndicated models are allowed. If you sold the
model, you cannot enter it in the show, even if it is still in your possession. If you
purchased a model from a judge within the last 6 months, you cannot enter it in the
show. No proxy entries are allowed. Horses violating this rule will be DQ’d & entrant
may be asked to leave without refund.
• About documentation of breeds & Artificial Intelligence (AI) images. For
documentation of breeds, it is strongly advised to use only images of REAL horses,
not AI-generated images unless you are documenting a color that is now considered
extinct in a breed. Many AI-generated images are inaccurate, and judges will penalize
you for inaccurate information. For fantasy/unrealistic classes, these images are fine.
Entry Limits
• Each halter horse model may only enter one halter division, and within that one
division, one breed class and one collectibility (OF)/workmanship (CMG) class.
• There is no entry limit on the number of entries you can have per class.
• Foals are to be shown in the foal classes only. Foals are one year or younger.
• One performance horse may enter multiple performance classes.
• An animal may only enter one class in the Animal division.
Conduct Rules for Entrants and Their Helpers
• The decisions of the judges and/or the show holder are final. The show holder
reserves the right to overrule a judge/recall a class if necessary. In the event of a
tie/indecision by a judge and/or judges, the show holder or her designee will serve as
decision maker.
• Entrants/Helpers may not solicit the show holder, show assistant, or any judge for
assistance with breed/collectibility/workmanship information for the entrant’s entries.
• YOU are responsible for managing your show string should you choose to enter both
Breakables AND Resin Renaissance. The show holders and staff of both shows will
not hold classes, place horses, etc. for you.
• Children under 12 years of age are not permitted to enter. Children 12-18 must have
a parent or legal guardian serve as the child’s helper. Due to the fragile items at the
show, please make arrangements for your children to be supervised outside of the
show hall.
• In accordance with the hotel’s pet policy, animals are not permitted in the banquet
spaces at the Clarion, with the exception of service dogs. If you have any questions
about the hotel’s animal policy, please contact Kat at Breyer –
kmcdermott@reevesintl.com.
• Access to the show hall is restricted to entrants, helpers, show staff, Breyer volunteers
and Breyer employees. A viewing area for the public will be available.
• All entrants/helpers in the show agree to the following terms: I understand and
acknowledge the Breakables Show (the "Show") is being managed and hosted by
Maggie Barkovitz ("Show Manager/Hostess") and registration payments are made
directly to Breyer for participation. Breyer, a division of Reeves International, Inc., is
sponsoring the prizes for the Show only and has given permission for the Show to
appear in the BreyerFest 2024 program. By registering for the event, I acknowledge
and agree that the Show Manager, staff, helpers, volunteers of the Show,
Breyer/Reeves and/or BreyerFest, Hagen-Renaker Tennessee (HR TN), and/or any
or all Social Media platforms will not be held liable or responsible for any claims or
losses related to my participation in this event. My participation/registration in this
event serves as my acceptance of these rules and regulations and as stated in the
show packet, on related websites/advertisements, etc. I understand that some terms
are subject to change and that I am responsible for making sure I understand any
changes that may arise. I also understand that I will conduct myself in a professional
manner and will not create a hostile showing environment for my fellow showers,
judges, Show Manager, Show Assistant, Social Media platforms, Hagen-Renaker
Tennessee (HR TN), and/or Breyer/Reeves employees. I understand that creating a
hostile showing environment will null and void my participation in the show, without
refund/recourse. I understand that if I am under 18, I must have a parent authorize my
entry form as well as assist me with the show. I also understand I must be a VIP or
All-Access ticket holder in order to show at Breakables at BreyerFest.
Judging Criteria
• Breed Classes are judged on anatomy, biomechanics, and conformation.
Collectibility/Workmanship will not be used in these classes unless the judge has two
horses of equal weight and uses collectibility/workmanship to break the tie.
• Collectibility classes will be judged on collectible characteristics such as rarity, age,
condition, and desirability.
• Workmanship judges will consider technique, color selection, customization, finish
work and detailing.
• Performance considerations will include the horse’s activity, and appropriateness,
scale and fit of tack and props in relation to the class and horse.
• Judges can disqualify models depicting abusive training practices such as big lick
Tennessee Walking horses.
• Divisions are double-judged with the exception of Performance, Medallions, Busts and
Animals – these divisions will be single-judged.
